PRACTICE MANAGER – This opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Practice Manager to assist the Principal Solicitor in overseeing the operations and client engagement services of the practice, and to maximize the office profitability through effective performance management of team members.

Overall your position will be to support the Principal Solicitor and take charge of the accounting/administration and HR functions of the practice.  Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee client engagement & service standards of the practice and of the individual solicitors & the team
  • Provide general HR support for new and existing team members
  • Generate operational and reporting guidelines to ensure all staff adhere to standards
  • Record and report on all activity and deliver accurate information to Principal Solicitor
  • Track performance and drive continual improvement to maximize productivity and profitability
  • Support Principal Solicitor with overall management  as required

The ideal candidate will be seeking a long term stable position in a team focused environment and have:

  • A minimum of 5 – 6 years’ experience as Practice Manager within a legal practice
  • Accurate record keeping and attention to detail
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven Management capabilities

LEGAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER – A well established and successful long established Law Firm with a friendly team culture has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced bookkeeper to join their team. You’ll enjoy a busy & varied role covering all aspects of legal bookkeeping, Including:

  • Trust and Office Accounts
  • Managing Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and statements

  • Collecting debts

  • Need minimum 4 year’s Bookkeeper/Finance Management experience within a law firm environment
  • Have proven experience in a similar role in a Legal Practice
  • Be proficient in excel and legal accounting software
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication stills
